Grand Rounds at WNS 2026

The 5th World Neurosciences Summit (WNS 2026) brings an exciting and future-focused learning opportunity for all Neurology residents and fellows.

In keeping with this year’s theme, “Man, Machine & Intelligence,” WNS 2026 introduces an advanced Grand Rounds program that integrates clinical neurology with emerging technologies and data-driven decision-making.

The World Neurosciences Summit hereby invites interesting, challenging, and thought-provoking clinical cases for Grand Rounds.

Three cases will be selected for Grand Rounds discussion by Dr. M. Madhusudanan, forming one of the highlights of the scientific program at WNS 2026. The summit will be held in New Delhi (20-23 August 2026).

The program will be organized by Dr. Kurian Thomas on behalf of WNS.

This training course shall definitely help them to re-strengthen their clinical skills.

Cases will be evaluated based on the presentation as well as the scope for clinical discussion.

Exciting prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places.

Last date for submitting the cases will be 15th June 2026.

Eligibility
  • Current DM (Neurology/ Paediatric Neurology) / DNB (Neurology/ Paediatric Neurology) residents
  • Candidates currently doing fellowships in various subsections of Neurology
General Guidelines
  • All cases for Grand Rounds should be submitted via the website: www.worldneurosciencessummit.com
  • Cases should be submitted in ENGLISH only.
  • All cases should be submitted as a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
  • A single candidate can submit up to 3 cases. But only one case from each candidate will be included in the Grand Rounds.
  • Students should submit fully worked up cases. Incomplete cases will not be reviewed.
  • The case being submitted should not have been published or presented elsewhere.
  • The same case, if desired, can be submitted for poster / platform presentation at the WNS 2026 conference.
  • Students must submit a letter from the Head of Department where they are currently pursuing their degree / fellowship.
  • The selected candidates shall get free registration for WNS 2026.
  • Last date for submission of cases for Grand Rounds is 15th June 2026.
Format for WNS Grand Rounds

The file attached for submission should not exceed 20 MB.The preferred format is a PowerPoint presentation with a maximum of 30 slides.

The file you will upload is for review. If the case is accepted, presenters will be free to make changes to their submitted slides. However, they should submit a final PowerPoint presentation a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the conference.

The format for the presentation is as follows:

  • Title
    • Title slide should include the name of the presenter and the name of the parent institution.
    • Titles may be interesting but should not reveal the case outcome.
  • History
  • Differential diagnosis at the end of history
  • Clinical Examination
  • Differential Diagnosis after examination
  • Case Summary
  • Ancillary Testing (e.g. Radiologic Studies, Pathology, etc.)
  • Differential Diagnosis / Final diagnosis
  • Discussion and review of literature

Figures and tables may be used as necessary. Videos may also be included in the presentation if clinically appropriate. However, these should be properly labelled and separately attached as an extra file in addition to the presentation during submission.
