How to Apply for a Conference Visa:

Below are the steps to apply for a conference visa:

1. Gather Required Documents:

  • Valid passport with at least six months validity beyond the intended departure date.
  • Visa application form (available on the embassy or consulate's website).
  • Invitation letter from the conference organizers detailing the event.
  • Proof of conference registration or participation.
  • Passport-sized photos meeting host country specifications.

For permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the following information is required from all international participants:

  • Name of the Participant (as per Passport)
  • Nationality
  • Email ID.
  • Mobile Number with country code
  • Passport number
  • Origin of Birth (Country)
  • Foreigner of Pakistani Origin: Yes or No
  • Credentials/ Professional details (Organization name with Designation & address)
  • Please upload your passport
  • Please upload your CV (Only required for participants from Japan, Mongolia and South Korea)

The conference organizer will apply for ministry approvals after collecting the above information. Kindly CLICK HERE to submit your all above details. The time limit to provide the above information is 3 months prior to the conference dates.

Documents required for an E-Conference VISA: Kindly apply for the E-Conference visa only once you have all these 3 documents. The documents will be available a couple of months prior to the conference dates.

  • Letter of Invitation from the Conference Organizer (this will be provided by the conference organizers to the participants via email)
